Call Description
We welcome demos such as prototypes, devices, systems, games, videos and other forms of designs that explore the research themes of Design, Learning & Innovation from a wide range of practitioners in areas such as design, learning, engineering and research, including submissions from students and independent practitioners.
Demos are hands-on interactive expositions and submissions should therefor describe how the demo would invite participation from or otherwise engage the conference attendees. Demos will be showcased at the conference during a dedicated demo session.
Authors are advised to include a photo or mock-up of the demonstration showing the envisioned set up. This information should be submitted as a supplementary document to the submission.
Format and Submission Details
Demos should be 2-4 pages long (excluding references). The submission should include:
- Anonymised demo abstract (4-page limit excluding references).
- Link to a video
Submission
Papers should be submitted through EAI’s Confy system, and have to comply with the Springer format (see Author’s kit section).
Publication
All registered Demos will be published by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library.
